Hyundai performs well in tests
One of the most popular car brands on Canada's roadways today is Hyundai, and recent testing on one of the company's models may explain why.
The automaker says that its vehicles have gone through an array of tests recently, and all of them have come back with positive results. One test was conducted by U.S.-based magazine Motor Trend, which measured the Hyundai Elantra's fuel economy, safety features, and overall value compared to other sedans from Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Kia, Mazda, Toyota and Volkswagen. Hyundai came out on top in every category.
John Vernile, Vice-President of marketing at Hyundai, said this is one of many tests illustrating Hyundai's superiority. Vernile said Edmunds.com, and the U.S.-based research firm AutoPacific also recently conducted tests where Hyundai performed the best.
"While I'm certainly happy to talk about the virtues of our vehicles, these awards mean you don't have to take my word for it," said Vernile. "We're honoured that our relentless efforts to maximize quality, design, and value are being recognized."
