If you experience a loss and need to make a home insurance claim, the first and only thing you have to do is contact a claims advisor.
From the moment we open the file until we close it, we’ll be there to help.
Minimizing the Damage
As soon as you report a claim, our claims advisors will take steps to minimize your losses. For example, if you have a broken window as a result of vandalism, we’ll send someone to board it up until it can be repaired.
If you must leave your home as a result of a covered loss, we’ll help you find a place to stay as quickly as possible.
Planning a Meeting
After dealing with the immediate situation, we’ll meet with you to assess the damage.
Make sure you bring all of the required documents to this meeting. In the event of theft or fire, bring a list of lost or damaged goods, and all the proofs of ownership you can find. Examples include receipts, bills, user manuals, photographs, warranties, and original packaging.
We process reimbursements quickly, and we keep you informed every step of the way.
