It was a Tuesday morning and I received a call from somebody that was a newcomer to Canada. And I could tell that there was a heavy language barrier.

Her financial institution was rejecting her insurance paperwork without providing any clear reason. She felt lost and needed help with that. I assured her that she was my number one priority.

The most precious gift you can give somebody is your time. So I let the client know that I was going to clear my schedule and spend as much time as necessary to make sure that her issue was resolved. She didn’t believe me, so I had to show her exactly what I meant.
I told her I was going to take care of her like she was one of my own friends or my own family. I contacted her lawyer, her real estate agent and her financial institution. I kept her updated on every phone call I had made.
After time spent, I was able to get the paperwork perfect. I was so happy to get back onto the line with the client and let her know that the application paperwork had been approved and that they would have no problems getting into their new home. It made me feel a great sense of pride.
