Property Damage Coverages with All-risk Insurance

With all-risk insurance, your property is protected against damage from most major accidents like fire, theft, vandalism and certain types of water damage.

Each insurance policy is different. When you took out your policy, one or more of the following optional coverages may have been added based on your needs.

Water damage – Ground water and sewer back-up (Endorsement 16c)

Covers you against damage caused by sewer back-up and ground water seepage.

Flood caused by the overflow of a body of water (Endorsement 16d)

Covers you against water that reaches the premises from the overflow of a body of water.

Water damage – Above-ground water and weight of ice, snow or sleet (Endorsement 42)

Covers you against damage caused by water seepage through the roof and walls.

Water service and sewer line breakage (Endorsement 51)

Covers certain repair costs if your water service or sewer line breaks or malfunctions.

Swimming pool and hot tub (Endorsements 33a or 33b)

Protect your above ground, semi-inground or inground swimming pool or hot tub against certain types of damage caused by things like freezing or the weight of ice or snow.

Escape of fuel oil (Endorsements 46b and 46c)

Covers damage caused by fuel oil spillage and covers soil decontamination.
